TV Series/ Movie Theories

Hey there! Welcome to my blog! We all have our own preferences in TV shows. Well, you may not know this, but there are several theories of things that could be what's actually happened in the show. I was listening to some and thought I would share them with you. Here's my favorite top 10!

#10 SpongeBob Squarepants

You've probably heard of SpongeBob Squarepants, right? Well, what if they were all mutants? That's what this theory suggests. Basically, nuclear testing caused the inhabitants of Bikini Bottom to mutate into what we see. This explains the fact that they talk, walk, and act like people. Sounds crazy. Well, since Bikini Atoll, the place right above Bikini Bottom, is a real place where nuclear testing occurred during the 1940's and 1950's, it isn't as far-fetched as it seems. Nuclear testing does cause mutations in the surrounding wildlife. Makes you wonder, right?

#9 Aladdin

The Disney movie Aladdin is just a cute kid's movie. Well, what would you say if I told you it was set in the future? That's right, according to this theory Aladdin is set in the future. It all stems from the scene where the Genie states that Aladdin's clothes are "so third century." Since the Genie was locked in his lamp for 10,000 years, how could he have known what the third century was like? According to this theory, Aladdin takes place in at least 10,300 AD in a post-apocalyptic wasteland where only some Arabic culture and technology has survived. What about the magic? It's all just the awesome technology that survived (flying carpets and genetically engineered parrots who can comprehend human speech).

#8 Rugrats

Rugrats was a 90's television show about a group of toddlers and their adventures. This theory suggests that the events in the show were all made up in Angelica's (the oldest rugrat)'s head. The theory says: "Chuckie died with his mother, which explains how much of a nervous wreck his father is. Tommy was a stillborn baby, which explains why his father, Stu, was always in the basement making toys for the son he never had. The Devilles had an abortion. Since Angelica didn't know the gender of the baby, she invented the twins, a boy and a girl." Yeah. Let that sink in for a moment. Apparently, this also explains why Angelica could talk to both the babies and the parents.

#7 Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

Let's just say, this one is sad. According to this theory, during that fight in West Philly, Will died on the basketball court. The taxi driver is God and he takes Will to heaven where he works out his issues with his aunt and uncle who are both wealthy. He only sees his mother and father on special occasions as that's when they visit his grave.

#6 Scooby-Doo

This theory from Reddit says that the original "Scooby-Doo" was set after a economic depression. That's why everything is abandoned and falling apart, and also why all of the villains are people wo would normally be respected. They simply had fallen into bad times just like everyone around them. That's a fun idea right?

#5 Powerpuff Girls

This is not the theory about Samurai Jack and the Powerpuff Girls sharing the same universe. If you haven't heard that one before, go search it, it's actually rather interesting. Anyway, this theory states that Blossom, Buttercup, and Bubbles are all "fractions of one host personality" whose name is unknown to the audience but in the theory is referred to as Brenda. Brenda developed Multiple-Personality Disorder (along with a few others) due to bullying from her older brother when she very young. Her older brother, whose actual character is also unknown to the audience, has manifested as Mojo Jojo who is also the Powerpuff Girls greatest nemesis. For the detailed explanation of not only this part of the theory, but also the rest of it, check the bottom of this page for the link!

#4 Courage the Cowardly Dog

This theory says that "Courage the Cowardly Dog" is real. Courage is a normal dog and because of this, sees the world through a dog's eyes. This means that the villains in the world are real people who are scary to a little dog like Courage. They don't live in the middle of Nowhere but since his owners are too old to take him anywhere, he only knows the area around the house. He doesn't know any of the outside area. This is one theory that actually makes sense while also not being sad.

#3 Dexter's Laboratory

This theory says that Dexter is just socially awkward and introverted so he used his imagination to entertain himself. His sister and parents would play along with his ideas. Mandark is actually similar to Dexter, probably his only friend whose like him. Therefore, the rivalry was nothing more than a part of the role playing. The other children were other kids who were unfamiliar to him. They played together using their imagination and as such, nothing "fantastic" occurs when Dexter is with them.
The lab was also part of Dexter's imagination. This theory also explains why although the rest of his family does not have an accent, Dexter does.

#2 Charlie Brown

We all know the show Charlie Brown. It was made to be a representative of the imperfections of everyday human life. Well, this theory suggests that the reason Charlie is hairless is because he has cancer and the chemo made his hair fall out. Some people even say that he's merely dreaming up his experiences from a hospital bed or his bed at home while he's dying. Is it true? I sure hope not.

#1 The Pixar Theory

This is the only movie theory on here, but it is my favorite theory of all. Well, let me tell you this is long so to hear the awesome, detailed version of it, please check out the link at the bottom of this page! Now, this theory only covers the Pixar movies from Toy Story to Monsters University. So, any recent movies are not part of this theory. Brave is the beginning and end of the theory. We meet the witch in this movie who we will come back to. She's another character from another movie in this timeline. There are two progressions of this timeline that both stem from the idea that centuries later, the animals from Brave that have been experimented on by the witch have interbred, creating a large-scale population of animals slowly gaining personification and intelligence on their own. The two progressions are of the animals and the artificial intelligence. Now, these movies set up the power struggle between the humans, animals, and machines. Ok. The progression for animals starts with Ratatouille. Then it goes to Finding Nemo and then to Up. The progression for artificial intelligence tarts with the Incredibles then goes to the Toy Story series. Now, this gets kinda confusing here so I'll try to explain it, but the explanation on the full theory is better. The beginning background of Wall-E where the human board the ship to go out into space occurs. Then Cars and Cars 2. Then it's Wall-E's actual turn. The full movie. Next is Bugs Life. Next is Monsters University and Monsters Inc. Well, once you read the explanation this will make more sense promise. Boo is the witch in Brave. Yep. So, now you can see why this is my favorite! It's confusing at points but that's what makes it so much fun!!!

Thanks for reading! Down below are the links to where I found these and on some links, there are more theories if you want to find some more. I hope you enjoyed hearing my top 10 favorites. Even though some of them, I don't want to be true. Until next time............
